About
Hi, my name is Eliza.
About me
I am a doll collector currently based in Sweden. While I mostly collect ABJDs (Asian ball-jointed dolls), I’m also occasionally interested in other types of dolls. I have a particular fondness for old-school stylized BJDs and vintage.
I've been experimenting with photography since 2008, with a particular focus on BJD photography starting in 2012.
Creative photography has always been my passion. I particularly enjoy using ball-jointed dolls as actors in my work. They provide a unique, reliable, and enjoyable way for me to creatively experiment and express my thoughts through photography.
The Story Behind This Blog
I’ve been involved in the BJD (ball-jointed doll) hobby since 2012. In 2017, however, my life circumstances changed, and I went on a long hiatus.
I slowly began returning to the hobby in 2020. Then, in 2022 the war reached my home country.
I traveled to Europe with seven of my favorite BJDs. These seven dolls are represent characters from my original story. And that’s where the name of this blog comes from.
In this blog, I share everything related to my doll hobby, with a focus on BJDs.
