Weekly faceups #2

I absolutely love making faceups! If given the chance, I’d be more than happy to do faceups for others. It’s such a relaxing process. I think I’ll slowly start refreshing the faceups for my entire crew.

This week, I painted the heads of Brannin and Nora.

Brannin has had that faceup since 2017. It was the last craft I made before my hiatus. It’s not bad, but I can do a better job now. 

His new faceup feels like such an improvement. I think it captures his character’s personality so much better.

And then there's Nora. Nora is a work-in-progress doll. Not too long ago, I picked up an old, damaged body from the marketplace, and now she's finally come together in one piece. There's still a lot of work to be done on her, but the faceup is the starting point.

I really like how she looks and feel quite satisfied, especially since I held onto her head for a good amount of time without knowing if it would fit the project. It's actually a male head, but it works perfectly.
